What Is Yoga?
Yoga is something that makes me feel grounded, strong and REALLY good.
Even though it was a practice of mine for almost two decades, it was not until I studied yoga in 2017 that I realised its profundity.
As an ancient science of how to live well, I find it extremely valuable.
In fact I don't know where I would be without it.
Hence I love to share it.

Yoga is not holding a gymnastic pose in fancy lycra while someone takes your picture for instagram.
Yoga is the practice of unifying mind body spirit.
Advanced Yoga is about being present in the moment, experiencing your body, breath and thoughts. You can be sitting in a wheelchair and be doing more advanced yoga than most of the pictures you see.
So don't be scared to participate.
Private Yoga Sessions
Group and one-to-one yoga sessions can be booked across the Launceston and Tamar Valley regions of Tasmania.
This is a great option if you want to work on deepening your private practice, you're unable to make it to classes, or you just want that personal attention when it comes to a PT session.
The cost is $80 per hour for up to four people, and $20 each for any extra attendees.
Classes can be in the styles of hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative and nidra; catered for all abilities and ages with an emphasis on pranayama (breathwork) and includes meditation.
Yoga props can be supplied.
